# Get Started

## Overview

This guide walks you through connecting your wallet, getting test tokens, and finding your way around the app so you're ready to start trading.

### Connect Your Wallet

To interact with Delphi, you'll need to connect a wallet. Click *Connect Wallet* in the top-right corner of the page.

You'll have two options:

* **Email:** Enter your email address and confirm with a one-time code. This creates an embedded wallet for you automatically.
* **MetaMask:** Connect an existing MetaMask wallet.

Either method gets you into Delphi. Once connected, the top-right corner of the page will update to show your wallet address, your balance, and a *Create Market* button.

### Gas on Testnet

Transactions on the Gensyn Testnet require a small amount of ETH for gas.

If you connected with an email wallet, your gas is sponsored and you don't need to do anything extra.

However if you connected with MetaMask, you'll need to get testnet ETH for gas yourself:

1. Get Sepolia ETH from the [Alchemy Sepolia faucet](https://www.alchemy.com/faucets/ethereum-sepolia).
2. Bridge it from Sepolia to the Gensyn Testnet using the [Gensyn Testnet Bridge](https://testnet-bridge.gensyn.network/).

This gives your wallet the ETH it needs to cover transaction fees. Note that this is separate from the $TEST tokens you'll use for trading.

### Get $TEST Tokens

Once your wallet is connected, you'll need $TEST tokens to trade. On testnet, $TEST tokens stand in for USDC (1 $TEST = 1 USDC).

Click on your wallet address in the top-right corner to open the dropdown menu, then click *Get Testnet Tokens.* This drips tokens from the faucet directly into your wallet.

From this same dropdown, you can also disconnect your wallet or copy your wallet address.

### Navigating the App

Delphi has a simple layout with two main views accessible from the top navigation:

* **Markets:** This is the home page. Browse all active markets, filtered by category if you like.
* **Activity:** Your personal dashboard showing your positions, trade history, markets you've created, and any claimable payouts or refunds.

When you're logged in, you'll also see the *Create Market* button in the top-right corner, which kicks off the market creation flow.

### Next Steps

You're all set. From here, you can [explore markets and place your first trade](https://docs.gensyn.ai/testnet/explore-and-trade#browsing-markets), or jump straight into [creating your own market.](https://docs.gensyn.ai/testnet/delphi/create-a-market)
